The Sweet Family
We decided to check out the new Rec Center. Kids can't wait to go swimming and try the awesome water slide. Then we decided to walk over to the girls new school and on the way there found a 1km Trail that looked interesting. Taylor saw a bunny go into the woods so of course she wanted to go after the bunny....we never found that bunny but we still had fun. A rainy day full of nothing much, but still fun.
Date Night
Every Thursday night for the summer, the town of Sidney shuts down part of Beacon and lets vendors sell their goods. It's called The Sidney Market and it really is a nice way to spend a Thursday evening. The kids really liked this band. They have tambourines and maracas for the kids to pick up and join in.

MEET GEORGE
Playing school in the Bathtub
Dylan reading MY book on MY new chair
We went to Costco the other day and I saw this chaise that I thought would be perfect for the sun room that is attached to our master bedroom. So after convincing Trent that we really need it we went back 2 days later to get it. Everyone LOVES it!!! I don't know if they love it because it is mine or because it is the only real furniture we have in the house besides the kitchen table.

We decided to move to Victoria for many reasons. One of them was because Trent was given a wonderful opportunity we just couldn't say no to. He has opened his own tile shop with a twist. It is like an art gallery. People walk in and their only words out of their mouth is WOW!!! I know it will be a successful business. We are proud of you Trent!!! So after months and months of hard work it is now open for business. Here are some photos....

Our Beautiful Girls
We took the kids to The Strawberry Festival which was held at Beaver Lake (right by Elk Lake) They had a fantastic time so many things to do and see. There was a live band, pony rides, pirate school, inflatable castles, face painting, and of course strawberries and ice cream. It was a wonderful way to spend a lazy Sunday.
Dylan driving his quad up the driveway
The driveway of our new house isn't like driveways in Calgary. It takes at least 10-15 mins to walk to the end of it to the main road. We went for a walk after dinner the other night and Baba said she feels like she is camping when she comes out here. It really is like a secret hide-a-way for our family. It is so quiet and peaceful out here, that the kids will sleep to 9:30. They would never do that in Calgary!
Baba & her Grandkids

Jessica really wanted these frogs she saw, but they were $40.00. Trent & I thought maybe she should earn them. So we got a chore chart and she earned them. She loves those frogs. Max and Ruby even made the trip out to Victoria with us as well as Taylor's fish Watermelon.
On Wednesday we were feeding them and Jessica noticed that Max would not get off Ruby. Ruby was trying to get away from Max but she couldn't....a few hours later she did finally get away...a few hours after that she was floating upside down...DEAD!!!!
